I did this workout with Paul. I actually started with 85lbs. In the middle of one of the sets, I realized that my max was 90lbs. It probably wasn't a good idea to use that weight. I had to drop to 80 then to 75. On Saturday, Mandy told me that Chris had said to use 85% of your max 5s. Oops.
Saturday, May 1:
"Bad Medicine" with Mandy
5 rounds for time with 14lbs medicine ball:
- 20 Overhead Lunges
- 20 Ball Passes - approx. 10' apart
- 20 Russian Twists

The ball passes were the hardest part of the workout for me. I needed more rest than Mandy. I think she kept thinking, "man, this girl rests a lot." :)

"Clean & Jerks on the Minute"

I attempted 95lbs in my warm-up. Yep, wasn't happening this time. This past week had some great workouts. I'm happy to be getting back into a routine.
